Jaffna University Alumni Association Canada was established in 2011 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada by a group of passionate alumni bound together by a strong determination to help our alma mater in Jaffna. We are a registered non-profit Organization in Canada registered under the Canada Non-for-Profit Corporation Act.
Our Mission: – To foster and sustain good fellowship among the old students of Jaffna University and to encourage continued strong engagement, love, and loyalty among the members and towards their Alma mater.
We promote goodwill, cooperation, and friendship among its members and their families who live in Canada and the United States through events and get-togethers yearly
we organize events and raise funds, to support research programs, provide teaching materials, and offer awards and scholarships that would enhance academic excellence at the University of Jaffna.
We engage in activities that will give the alumni members, especially the recent immigrants to Canada to improve their professional, vocational, and academic careers.
